He was very much worried about his career. Suddenly, opportunity knocks at his door and he came to know about NITCON STED Project Training in Computer Hardware Assembling and Laptop Repairing. He had electronics background, on the basis of which he got selected in the training and successfully completed it. He had no money to invest to start his own venture, but during the training he has made up his mind to join job for some period and will earn some money. After a period of 1-2 years, he will start his own shop for repair/ assembling of computers. Presently, he is working with M/s Compo Plaza and getting approx. Rs.5500-6000/- per month on commission basis.

He has worked as Data Entry Operator in Easy Day. But he was not satisfied with piece meal jobs and was interested to do something of his own, but he had no money to start his own venture. As he was doing data entry job Part-time (in the evening hours) he came to know about NITCON STED PROJECT training in the trade of Mobile Repair, being conducted on behalf of Ministry of Science & Technology, GoI, New Delhi. He immediately collected all the information and joined the training. During the Instructional Phase, he learned the skills of mobile repair on the latest machines/ tools and very much motivated to start his own venture. He got the information related to management skills, marketing skills, financial institutions, communication skills besides the practical training. During the practical training few lastest techniques were discussed viz. :- Brief description of GSM, TDMA, CDMA Techniques. Frequencies used for GSM & PCS, Bandwidth & Channels in GSM. Cell Structure. Frequency Re-Use, How a Call Connection is made between two Subscribers & Different service Provider.Introduction About Software. UFS & Cables etc. After completion of training, he worked with some private shops and worked independently from his residence. He started earning approx. Rs.7500-8000/- per month. In the mean time, he had already applied for loan amounting to Rs.2.00 lacs under PMEGP Scheme and recently his loan has been sanctioned and forwarded to bank. With a span of 15-20 days, it is expected that his loan for an amount of Rs.2.00 lacs will be disbursed. He has already arranged shop in the market and very much confident that he will earn approx. Rs.12000-15000/- per month after establishment of his venture.
6. Future Planning Recently his loan has been sanctioned for Rs.2.00 lacs under PMEGP scheme and case has been forwarded to Oriental Bank of Commerce, Phirki Bazar, Bathinda. Very soon, his loan will be disbursed and he will start his venture.

5. Present Status Before joining the STED Project Training, Ms. Sukhmander Kaur was doing the work of stitching of clothes and providing training to the girls in her village. When she came to know about NITCON STED Project Training in the trade of Manufacturing of Leather Bags and Laptop Bags, she applied, selected, joined and successfully completed the training. During the training, she learnedso many things like before manufacturing/ stitching of bags, materials and colors must be selected, proper cutting process, which is the most important in manufacturing of any type of bag, use of thread of specific quality and number, proper technique and style of finishing the product etc. Besides the practical inputs, she has also learned the management techniques and how to run a business in a organized and systematic way, which has enhances her confidence and after completion of training, she applied the same things in her existing work, which has enhanced her monthly income from Rs.5000/- to approx. Rs.7500/- per month initially.
As discussed, she is planning to apply for loan to enhance her work.

With an objective to enhance her work, which she is operating from her own house, with ordinary machine, she joined NITCON STED Training in the trade of Leather Bag & Laptop Bag Manufacturing. Presently, besides stitching work, she has started work of stitching of bags also. But her initial investment is very less i.e around Rs.10,000/- and she is earning approx. Rs.4000-4500/- per month.

5. Present Status Sudesh is having stitching experience of around 18 years. Since last 18 years, she is doing the work of stitching of suits, pillow covers, bed covers, quilting covers etc. She has a zeal to learn new and new things, with this interest in her mind, she joined NITCON STED Training in the trade of Leather Bag & Laptop Bag Manufacturing. Presently, she is having 2 umbrella machines, Bags stitching machine and ordinary sewing machine. She has made an investment of around Rs.25,000-28,000/- Now she has added the work of stitching of all types of bags besides here rountine work.
As discussed with her, she said, no doubt she was doing the stitching work since last 18 years, but it was in an unorganized manner. During the STED training, she has learnt the minor to minor things, which are necessary to stand in the competitive market. She is very much confident and very proudly said that her monthly income has enhanced from Rs.6000/- to approx. Rs.7500/- at such an initial stage.

Present Status Before joining NITCON STED Project training, she was doing stitching of clothes on piece rate basis with some shop i.e stitching of Gents Shirts and was not getting good payment against het hard work. She started learning the techniques of stitching of bags alongwith her work. After completion of training, she got motivation to start her own venture. His family income is also very less, so initially, she planned to initiate the work from her own house with little investment. Presently, she is earning approx. Rs.8000-9000/- per month and very confident that within a year, she will definitely star her own venture with more investment.

5. Present Status Raj belongs to a poor family. Her family circumstances forced her to join the NITCON STED PROJECT Training in the trade of Leather Bags Manufacturing, but this training has proved to be a boon for her and her family. She learnt the skills of stitching of bags very sincerely and seriously and after completion of training, she started her venture from her own residence. As she was doing tuition work side by side also, she stitched the bags of her students and got the order from school also. She is very happy and during the meeting she informed that trainer has provided the training on the latest machines i.e 31 K machines and thorough knowledge was provided during the training regarding identification of material, consumables required for bags, packing, checking of finished product and marketing strategies also. She is earning approx. Rs.10,000-12,000/- per month and has made an investment of around Rs.15000/-.

5. Present Status Bhupinder Kaur was a house wife before joining this training. She was looking after her kids. She was looking for an opportunity by which she can enhance her family income. She got an opportunity to join NITCON STED Project Training and during the training, she started stitching of bags for her satsang members. They liked the products and saw the different styles of the bags which she learnt during the training. After completion of training, her satsangi members motivated her to start her venture and said that marketing will not be any problem. She started the work of stitching of bags and presently she is earning approx. Rs.6000-7000/- per month. As discussed with her, she informed that many girls are approaching her for learning the skills of bag manufacturing, but she is having shortage of space. But she is very thankful to NITCON for changing her life style and for providing the training in organized and systematic way.

5. Present Status Mr. Darshan Singh, husband of Sarbjeet Kaur is a tailor and running shop in rented premises. Before joining the training, she was also associated with her husband in tailoring work, but it was all on andaza basis. She was interested to learn a technique in which she can do the systematic and organized work i.e proper cutting, marking, sewing patterns, finishing, packing etc. She got an opportunity to join NITCON STED Training in the trade of Leather Bag Manufacturing. As her husband is already running a tailoring shop, she also started displaying her products in the shop and simultaneously she stitched bags for her school going children also. She started getting orders from her children friends and gradually she started stitching of bags. Presently, she is stitching bags from her own house and also providing training to the girls. Her approx. earnings per month is Rs.10,000-12,000/-. She has plan to have her own shop, where she and her husband can establish their own venture.

She has an interest in stitching and hand embroidery. She started learning the skills of stitching of clothes and hand embroidery. Simultaneously, she came to know about NITCON STED PROJECT training in Leather Bag manufacturing. She was aware of the demand of the bags in the market, she planned to join NITCON Training. Ms. Parminder Kaur was working in a Boutique before joining the training. In the boutique she was not getting handsome salary. She was also interested to start something of her own. As she came to know about NITCON STED PROJECT training through Jagdev Kaur, as both are neighbourer, she planned to join the training. Both of them have successfully completed the training and after completion of training, they started their venture of stitching of bags and clothes with their little investment i.e Rs.20,000/-. Presently, they are earning approx. Rs.12000-15000/- per month and has a plan to have shop in the market to enhance their business.
Besides above following trainees have also initiated the work of stitching of bags with little investment and has a plan to enhance their business within a year
